BELIFT LAB Files 100 Million Won Damages Lawsuit Against Team Bunnies

BELIFT LAB, a HYBE subsidiary label and agency for the group ILLIT, has filed a lawsuit seeking hundreds of millions of won against the operator of ‘Team Bunnies,’ a NewJeans fan group.

According to legal sources on December 15, BELIFT LAB filed a 100 million won damages lawsuit on December 11 at the Seoul Western District Court against the unidentified operator of Team Bunnies, who is reportedly a minor, and the parents responsible for supervising them.

The lawsuit seeks compensation for reputational damage to ILLIT and BELIFT LAB, as well as resulting business losses, caused by posts containing various false claims, including allegations that ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans. A judge has not yet been assigned to the case.
