Spreading False Information About NewJeans’ Return
The method of spreading false information was as follows:
1. False information was written in news article format and inserted at the top of a Blind post.
2. A screenshot of an actual published article was inserted directly below the false information. The URL was deliberately omitted to make it difficult for users to find the actual article.
3. The Blind post created using the above method was spread to other communities, disseminating false information.
On November 14, 2025 at 4:14 PM, an X (formerly Twitter) account called “Entertainment Issue Archiving” uploaded a post titled “Conditions for the Return of 3 NewJeans Members Who Returned to ADOR.”
The main content of the post was as follows:
* “The return of Minji, Hanni, and Danielle is facing difficulties due to internal condition negotiations.”
* “During discussions with the agency, they presented conditions demanding either a guarantee of CEO Min Hee-jin’s return or the waiver of all penalties and civil claims.”
* “The return of the remaining 3 members cannot be decided until unreasonable negotiation conditions are clearly withdrawn.”
Many fans tried to find the original article containing this information, but only the Blind links mentioned above appeared, revealing that the post uploaded by “Entertainment Issue Archiving” was false information.
