A NewJeans fan shared their personal opinion through a YouTube Community post, stating that while they ‘respect the members’ choices, someone should also inform the members about the option of returning to ADOR.’
The majority of Bunnies criticized this behavior, and the incident was reported in news articles and spread across various online communities with narratives such as ‘A NewJeans fan spoke their mind’ and ‘NewJeans fandom has split.’

As criticism from Bunnies intensified, the fan deleted the YouTube Community post and then stated through their Instagram announcement channel that they ‘didn’t expect so many people to see the YouTube Community post.’ They later posted an apology, changed their channel’s profile and name, and ceased activity.
Additionally, one of the fans who had shared their opinion on Instagram announced they would ‘stop operating their fan account.’ This was also spread across various online communities with narratives such as ‘Bunnies are cyberbullying a NewJeans fan who spoke their mind’ and ‘Fan accounts are shutting down due to cyberbullying from fellow Bunnies.’
