Min Hee-jin’s Side Releases Official Statement: “Fine Not Finalized, Appeal Process Underway”
On March 18, 2025, the Seoul Western District Office of the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office, in connection with the workplace harassment complaint filed by “B” against former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, determined that certain statements constituted workplace harassment and issued advance notice of its decision to impose a fine, while determining that certain other statements did not constitute workplace harassment and administratively closed those portions.
Additionally, the Labor Office intervened in the internal complaint case involving former Vice CEO “A” and issued advance notice to ADOR Co., Ltd. of its decision to impose a fine for violation of the obligation to conduct an objective investigation under the Labor Standards Act, while determining that the alleged violation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act did not apply and administratively closed that portion.
However, upon reviewing the response letter regarding the disposition of this case, it was confirmed that the facts surrounding the statements determined to constitute workplace harassment were incorrectly established, and there were misunderstandings of the legal principles under the Labor Standards Act regarding workplace harassment and the obligation to conduct objective investigations.
Accordingly, we plan to promptly submit our opinions to the administrative agency and proceed sequentially with formal appeal procedures to clarify the exact truth of the complaint case and clear the unjust accusations.
Furthermore, despite the fact that the decisions to impose fines on former CEO Min and ADOR Co., Ltd. have not been finalized, some reports are treating the matter as if the decisions have been finalized through administrative closure.
