Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office Issues Advance Notice of Fine Imposition for Workplace Harassment to Former CEO Min

On the 24th, the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office (hereinafter “Labor Office”) announced that after investigating the complaint filed by “B” against former CEO Min Hee-jin, certain legal violations by former CEO Min were confirmed. As a result, former CEO Min received advance notice of a fine.

The Labor Office partially recognized the workplace harassment allegations against former CEO Min as presented by “B.” The Labor Office stated, “It is determined that the statements, among other things, continuously made by former CEO Min to ‘B’ exceeded the appropriate scope of work duties and could cause physical or mental distress to the complainant or worsen the work environment, and therefore constitute workplace harassment,” adding, “Advance notice of a fine was issued to the perpetrator (former CEO Min) and the case was administratively closed.”
