Hello, this is Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.

We are sorry to be releasing this statement amid such unsettled circumstances.

We recently learned through the media that ADOR has filed a lawsuit against the five of us seeking confirmation that the exclusive contract is valid. In their statement, ADOR has failed to properly assert that there were no contract violations and is merely repeating the claim that contract termination is impossible until they recover their support and investment in the company.

However, we have already returned profits to ADOR and HYBE that exceed their investment. Nevertheless, HYBE attempted various forms of interference to diminish our value, including defamation and reverse viral marketing, and ADOR stood by and allowed this after the management changed. This is no different from the company that should protect us producing malicious comments themselves. Especially considering this breakdown of trust, we have concluded that we are highly likely to suffer more damage in the future.

Our trust in ADOR and HYBE, who have repeatedly violated contract terms and failed to fulfill even their basic obligation to protect their artists, has already collapsed. As stipulated in the exclusive contract, there is no longer any reason to work with ADOR and HYBE.

The exclusive contract clearly contains a clause stating that we can terminate the contract if ADOR fails to fulfill its contractual obligations.

Despite this breakdown of trust and contract violations, forcing us to work for five more years is not only unreasonable but inhumane.

We gave ADOR a 14-day grace period and demanded that they rectify the contract violations, but ADOR failed to rectify any of them. Accordingly, we notified ADOR of the contract termination pursuant to the exclusive contract, and this took effect immediately.

ADOR has filed a lawsuit seeking the court’s judgment on whether this termination is lawful, but this is merely a procedure to obtain confirmation from the court after the fact. Nevertheless, we express deep regret over the statement they released that misleads the public as if the contract is still valid.

To be clear once again, we have not been affiliated with ADOR since November 29, 2024. ADOR cannot interfere with or intervene in our activities.

While publicly announcing attempts at dialogue and reconciliation, we could not help but feel fear and disgust when we saw articles from media outlets that were tailing us, defaming us, and spreading false information behind the scenes. However, no matter how much they try to drive a wedge between us, the five of us are united as one and no one can tear us apart.

Immediately after announcing the termination of our exclusive contract, we have been faithfully fulfilling the remaining schedules with ADOR as we promised. However, we have also witnessed the managers and Purdies who help us with these schedules being subjected to severe harassment by ADOR and HYBE—having their laptops confiscated, being subjected to unannounced investigations—and crying as a result. We find it very difficult to understand such treatment of the staff working on the remaining schedules, and it pains us that we are not the only ones being harmed by this unconscionable and inhumane company.

Although we anticipate a difficult road ahead, we dream of a life where we can be with the fans who love us through healthy music activities. And we definitely want to make that dream come true.

Even after the CEO was replaced, despite HYBE’s various issues being exposed multiple times, ADOR did not rectify them, and far from protecting us, they did not even demand improvements from other labels that defamed us and spread false information. In addition, we find it deeply regrettable that ADOR, which has been consistent with evasive excuses, has instead filed a lawsuit against us. However, we hope that the trial process will reveal all the circumstances that led us to choose contract termination and the reasons for ADOR’s contract violations.
