Min Hee-jin Files Criminal Complaint Against HYBE Former CEO, Chief Communications Officer, and Dispatch Reporter

This is Marcol Consulting Group, which handles media communications together with Shin & Kim, the law firm representing former CEO Min Hee-jin.

Former CEO Min Hee-jin has filed criminal complaints with Yongsan Police Station against former HYBE CEO Park Ji-won and HYBE Chief Communications Officer Park Tae-hee for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (information and communications network infringement, etc.), and against Dispatch reporters Kim OO and Park XX for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation).

Since last April, the accused Park Ji-won and Park Tae-hee have actively utilized illegally obtained private conversations, adding false information to them, in order to shape negative public opinion against former CEO Min.

Dispatch’s Kim OO and Park XX, while fully aware of the above intentions as journalists, continuously published false information with the intent to defame former CEO Min Hee-jin, thereby damaging her reputation.

Kim OO and Park XX have written yet another article today that is completely different from the truth, adding their own speculation to one-sided claims without any fact-checking, and published articles with false content.

We hope that through this complaint, a thorough investigation will reveal the serious lies and deception of the accused, and that they will be held legally accountable accordingly.
