ADOR Issues Position Statement One Day Before Legal Notice Deadline; Related Articles Reported

On October 7, 2024, BELIFT LAB released a statement regarding the “ignoring the manager” remarks through its X account and the “Allyeodeurimnida” platform. ADOR has maintained a cautious stance until now, concerned that a factual dispute might spark unnecessary controversy surrounding the ADOR artist. However, despite ADOR’s efforts, the related controversy has not subsided, so we are announcing ADOR’s position.

BELIFT LAB’s claims are completely different from NewJeans member Hanni’s account. Hanni clearly remembers that on May 27, 2024, a member of BELIFT LAB made a remark to the effect of “ignore her” or “ignore her and walk past” directed at Hanni. Furthermore, given that this occurred in a relatively brief moment, it is too harsh and strict a standard for a victim to be required to recall every detail of the situation at the time in order to raise an issue. ADOR and its members fully trust our artist’s words and are truly sorry for the harm Hanni has suffered.

We hope that BELIFT LAB will not take Hanni’s suffering lightly and show mutual respect, and we ask that they demonstrate a sincere attitude so that unnecessary controversy surrounding the ADOR artist does not continue.
