Lack of Foreign-Language Apology Regarding HYBE Internal Documents
According to an examination of the HYBE website on October 31, a notice titled “We Apologize Regarding the Monitoring Documents” dated October 29 was posted. However, when the website language is changed to Chinese, English, or Japanese, the post is not visible. In contrast, all other notices and press releases except for this apology are available.
This has led netizens to raise suspicions that HYBE deliberately chose not to release the apology in foreign languages, being mindful of international K-pop fans.
