Former ADOR Employee B Announces Complaint Against Min Hee-jin for ‘Concealment of Sexual Harassment’ Allegations

Ms. B, a former employee of NewJeans’ agency ADOR, is filing a lawsuit against ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.

In a recent exclusive interview with Monthly Chosun, Ms. B announced that she would file civil and criminal charges against Min Hee-jin on August 23 for violations of the Labor Standards Act and the Personal Information Protection Act, as well as for spreading false information.

Additionally, Ms. B is filing a complaint with the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office against ADOR executive Mr. A for unfair labor practices and labor-management irregularities.

In response, Min Hee-jin stated in an official statement on the 13th, “From the beginning, this matter was presumed to have originated as a pretext to push for my dismissal, unrelated to B,” and opened by saying, “B suddenly appeared and spread false claims that I only sided with VP A or that I lied, while also demanding a public apology by presenting the distorted claim that I was not neutral and objective as CEO. Sensing this strange flow, I became obligated to clearly establish the facts and am reluctantly revealing the full details.” In her official statement, Min Hee-jin disclosed the contents of her conversations with Ms. B as well as Ms. B’s salary without the party’s permission.

Min Hee-jin claimed, “The current issues are strangely conflated. In particular, provocative words like ‘sexual harassment’ and ‘cover-up’ are being recklessly thrown around, and like the exaggerated wording of certain people that was not even submitted to the court—similar to claims of a management takeover—the essence and facts are being diluted and inflated as if there is some grand conspiracy. It is especially insidious that I, who was not even a party to the original controversy, am being forcibly dragged in and all arrows are being aimed at me. It is highly suspicious that B suddenly appeared just when HYBE was being intensely criticized by the media over various issues, and is deliberately demanding a public apology by targeting me—who tried hard to mediate—rather than the person B identified as the perpetrator.”
