Reports on KFTC Investigation Into PUBG Collaboration Probability Items
It has been confirmed that the Fair Trade Commission is investigating allegations that game developer Krafton falsely disclosed the drop rates for collaboration items between its popular online shooter “PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS” and the idol group “NewJeans,” resulting in consumer harm.
The FTC had previously conducted an on-site investigation of Krafton in May over allegations of incorrectly listing the drop rates for random items in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Separately from that investigation, the FTC is now also looking into the recent “NewJeans item controversy.”
