HYBE Reveals Its First Girl Group ‘LE SSERAFIM’

‘LE SSERAFIM,’ a girl group created through a collaboration between HYBE and its subsidiary label Source Music, will debut in May.

The group includes Miyawaki Sa*** and Kim C***, former members of ‘IZ*ONE,’ a Korea-Japan project girl group that had a dedicated fanbase.

The group name LE SSERAFIM is an anagram (a wordplay that rearranges letters to create new words or phrases) of ‘IM FEARLESS.’

HYBE explained, “It embodies self-confidence and a strong will to move forward fearlessly, unshaken by the world’s gaze.”

Starting with LE SSERAFIM, HYBE plans to successively introduce more girl groups, including one produced by ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and another formed through ‘I-LAND 2,’ a collaboration between CJ ENM’s Mnet and HYBE.
