January 2, 2019 (Estimated) – First Meeting Between Min Heejin and Bang Si-hyuk

Just two days after I resigned, I got a call from a headhunter. I had left so quietly that even people at SM didn’t really know yet, but suddenly, just two days later, I got this call saying someone really wants to meet you. I asked, “Who is it?” but they said they couldn’t tell me. I think it was because of non-compete clauses and things like that. “I can’t say, but you’ll know when you meet them.” I had no idea who it was, and I was so curious that I met with them a week later, and it turned out to be Chairman Bang Si-hyuk.

When I joined, I was given three main tasks, or assignments, you could say. First was to complete the company’s rebranding project. Second was to launch a girl group. Third was to launch Min Heejin’s own label.
