Update on Legal Action Regarding Malicious Posts (06.02)

Hello. This is Team Bunnies.

Today, we have signed additional contracts with law offices and law firms,

and we plan to file additional criminal complaints within this week.

These complaints are not simply third-party reports for defamation, but are being filed against malicious posts involving dissemination of false information, insults, racial discrimination, sexual harassment, and other offenses that occurred on major online communities and social media platforms including DC Inside, TheQoo, FM Korea, Nate Pann, and Instiz. We plan to continue taking all possible legal measures based on the collected tips and monitoring data.

For the approximately 150 individuals against whom criminal complaints have already been filed, identity information has been returned for the majority of them, and police investigations are currently underway. During this process, we have received more than 10 requests for settlement, but we have rejected all of them and are responding firmly.

Some of these cases have been referred to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment,

and we are thoroughly tracking the progress of related matters together with the members’ legal representatives.
