Regarding this Indomie Mi Goreng pop-up store, on the 23rd, Indofood (Indomie) and IMEX Trading, the official importer of Mi Goreng, contacted Team Bunnies with the intention of saying, “We have a limited quantity product available for a limited time during May only, and we wanted to inform Bunnies first.” They proposed prioritizing online sales for fans’ convenience, stating that they would like to proceed with online sales so that Bunnies and everyone who loves NewJeans can purchase online without having to go find the products in person.

After this, we exchanged emails and phone calls with representatives from Indofood and IMEX Trading and went through discussions. In order to secure as much online sales inventory as possible for the limited quantity Mi Goreng ramen special pack, we conducted a demand survey to determine the expected purchase quantity in advance, after which the available quantity for online sales would be adjusted accordingly.

Regarding the collection of personal information, no information other than purchase quantity will be provided to any third party other than Team Bunnies, and it will only be used for the purpose of conducting the demand survey and sending emails. Additionally, all information will be disposed of within 7 days after the demand survey is completed.

The pop-up store can proceed without prior approval under the contract, and Indomie pop-up stores are events held not only in Korea but worldwide.

On April 25 (yesterday), additional criminal complaints and reports were filed based on reports, tips, and monitoring of malicious posts (false information, insults, racial discrimination, sexual harassment, etc.) that occurred on various communities and social media platforms including Instiz, TheQoo, DC Inside, and FM Korea. Additionally, an investigator has been assigned to the criminal complaints and reports filed on April 11, and warrants to obtain author information are currently being executed against each community, with responses being received.
