Hello. This is Team Bunnies.

Recently, speculative content based on clearly false information and malicious posts targeting NJZ members (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein) and their parents have been spreading indiscriminately across various online communities and social media platforms. We have determined that this has caused serious damage to the reputation of those involved, and we would like to provide an update on the status of related legal actions.

On March 24, 2025, we issued a warning of legal action against the authors of malicious posts through Newlawyer Law Office, and we previously announced that criminal complaints were filed on December 13, 2024, and March 13, 2025. Additional criminal complaints for defamation were filed in April 2025, and an investigator has been assigned to recently filed cases, with investigations now underway.

For cases that were previously filed, the identification of the authors of malicious posts has been largely completed, and it has been confirmed that many of them were active on multiple communities simultaneously rather than just a single community. In particular, it has been identified that a user who posted malicious content of the same nature across three or more communities, including Instiz, TheQoo, and FM Korea, is the same individual.

We have determined that it is difficult to hold individuals sufficiently accountable for such repetitive and organized malicious behavior through third-party complaints alone. Accordingly, we have shared relevant materials and information with Shin & Kim, the legal representatives of the parties involved, and we plan to pursue all possible civil and criminal legal actions going forward.

We will continue to take strong legal action against defamation, insults, sexual harassment, dissemination of false information, and malicious slander targeting NJZ members and their families, and we also plan to continue ongoing monitoring of harmful posts across various online communities and social media platforms.
