Hello. This is the parents of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.

We wish to inform you that this account will be operated temporarily and has been inevitably opened to represent our position in the dispute with HYBE.

Since there was no official channel to convey our position, we have made efforts several times to conduct direct interviews through various media outlets or to convey the facts through reporters we came to know.

We are grateful that some media outlets reported our words exactly as they were, but they were very few. We also attempted a wide distribution through an agency, but we have faced many difficulties in having our position conveyed through the media without distortion, such as headlines being written strangely.

While the members’ stories ended up being distributed in only a minimal number of articles unless they were quoted within a distorted or negative frame, HYBE and ADOR are currently distributing hundreds of articles a day containing false facts or content representing only HYBE and ADOR’s position. They are doing this through various media outlets, including internet outlets acting as mouthpieces, without even going through the process of fact-checking and the right to reply that media outlets are customarily obliged to follow.

[Regrettably, we wish to state that we came to create this account after receiving a tip regarding indications that, ahead of the injunction lawsuit, HYBE and ADOR are once again circulating unverified rumors to various reporters to spread false articles targeting the members.]

We feel very apologetic as we know there are people who must be fatigued by this long dispute.

However, please understand that the content to be conveyed through this account will mainly consist of matters that are difficult for the members to communicate directly themselves. As the members’ current sole spokespersons, we are in a desperate situation where a channel is needed to correct the facts.
