Hello, this is Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.

We confirmed through the media that following the ‘lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract,’ ADOR has also filed an ‘application for injunction to preserve agency status and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts, etc.’ against us. We received the complaint and the application a few days ago, and we have appointed Shin & Kim LLC as our legal representative.

Since ADOR and HYBE have appointed Kim & Chang as their legal representative, we thought we needed a law firm capable of responding to this. To respond to the rapidly proceeding injunction, we believe Shin & Kim, who already understands the faults and problems of HYBE and ADOR, is the most suitable place.

HYBE and ADOR did not fulfill the agency’s duty of protecting and growing their artists. There were obstacles, big and small, throughout our activities. They even packaged the words ‘we will cut short your entertainment career,’ which was effectively to discard and replace us, with the word ‘long-term vacation.’ Even after the exclusive contract was lawfully terminated, baseless criticism poured out against us through the media and YouTube gossip channels (so-called ‘cyber wreckers’). Most of these were things that could not be known unless ADOR and HYBE provided the information. We have no choice but to think that ADOR and HYBE are at the center of all these situations.

Like this, while ADOR and HYBE tell us to come back, they have been endlessly harassing and attacking us from places where the public eye does not reach, just as before. Recently, they even secretly met with some of our parents to attempt conciliation or drive a wedge between us. We wish they would not disparage their opponents in cowardly ways in unseen places, attempt to divide us, or engage in media play with false facts, but rather determine right from wrong fairly and squarely without lies.

We state firmly: The five of us have absolutely no intention of returning to HYBE and ADOR, from whom we cannot expect even the minimum level of good faith.

Even after the termination of the exclusive contract, we wanted to wrap up the remaining schedules and contracts amicably without dispute as much as possible, and we hoped that no harm would come to the officials involved. Watching ADOR and HYBE, who do not cooperate with such hearts and efforts and instead cause harm to us and many others through improper methods, we decided not to remain silent anymore.

Through legal procedures, we intend to clearly reveal the faults of ADOR and HYBE and fight confidently in court to make the truth known.
