Hello. This is ADOR.

On October 7, 2024, BELIFT LAB released a statement regarding the “manager’s ‘ignore it’ remark” via the BELIFT LAB X account and [Announcement]. ADOR has maintained a cautious attitude until now, fearing that a battle over factual details might trigger unnecessary controversy regarding our agency’s artists. However, despite these efforts by ADOR, the related controversy has still not been dispelled, so we are stating ADOR’s position.

BELIFT LAB’s claims are completely different from the statement of NewJeans member Hanni. Hanni clearly remembers that on May 27, 2024, a member of BELIFT LAB made a remark to the effect of “ignore her” or “ignore her and walk past” regarding Hanni. Furthermore, considering that it happened in a relatively short moment, requiring Hanni to recall every detail of the situation at the time without omission in order to raise an issue is too harsh and strict a standard for the victim. ADOR and its members fully trust our artist’s words and truly feel regret regarding the harm Hanni has suffered.

We hope that BELIFT LAB will not take the harm Hanni suffered lightly and will show mutual respect. We also hope you show a sincere attitude to ensure that unnecessary controversy regarding ADOR’s artists does not continue.
