Girl group NewJeans sent a “certification of contents” (legal notice) to their agency ADOR on the 13th, stating, “If you do not accept our demands for rectification, we will terminate our exclusive contract.”

Accordingly, the “ADOR situation,” which was sparked by the audit against former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin last April, has reached a critical watershed moment as the possibility of an exclusive contract dispute grows.

In the certification of contents, the members demanded, “Rectify all major violations of the exclusive contract mentioned herein within 14 days from the date of receipt of this letter.”

The five members personally signed the last page of this certification of contents.

NewJeans emphasized, “We inform you that we intend to terminate the exclusive contract if ADOR does not accept the demands for rectification,” adding, “Currently, groundless rumors regarding NewJeans members’ families and relatives are circulating, but NewJeans has absolutely no connection to these rumors.”

They added, “We will respond firmly to those who slander NewJeans by spreading false rumors.”
