Announcement from BELIFT LAB.

Hello. This is BELIFT LAB.

We wish to clarify that the claim raised by former CEO Min Hee-jin’s side during the injunction hearing on October 11 stating that “BELIFT LAB plagiarized the NewJeans proposal” is completely false. We plan to submit evidence to the court proving the falsehood of this claim. Although this injunction is filed against HYBE, we urge her side to stop dragging our artists and employees into this with false information and using them for her own legal defense and to sway public opinion once again.

Furthermore, as the real names of our employees were revealed during the legal proceedings, cyberbullying, including personal attacks based on false information, is ensuing. We express strong regret towards former CEO Min Hee-jin’s side for distributing the presentation materials from the injunction hearing without redaction, exposing these names. We announce that BELIFT LAB will take legal action to hold former CEO Min Hee-jin’s side and authors of malicious posts civilly and criminally liable to protect our artists and employees.

BELIFT LAB will do its utmost to protect our artists and employees under a zero-tolerance policy.
