🔗 NewJeans Fan Club Files Complaint for Breach of Trust Against ADOR CEO Kim Ju-young and Others

Hello, this is Team Bunnies.
Tomorrow morning, we plan to file a criminal complaint at the Seoul Yongsan Police Station against the accused: Kim Ju-young (ADOR CEO / HYBE CHRO), Lee Do-kyung (ADOR Deputy CEO / HYBE IPX Deputy CEO), Park Tae-hee (HYBE CCO), and Cho Sung-hun (Head of PR Office).

The accused Kim Ju-young and Lee Do-kyung will be reported for charges of occupational breach of trust and obstruction of business regarding the subsidiary ADOR. The accused Park Tae-hee and Cho Sung-hun will be reported for charges of violating the Personal Information Protection Act, violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (infringement of information and communications network, defamation), and violating the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.

As CEO and executive director respectively, Kim Ju-young and Lee Do-kyung violated their duty of loyalty and duty of care to ADOR Co., Ltd. They deliberately ignored taking active measures against actions that infringe upon and obstruct the entertainment activities of NewJeans members. By disregarding the members’ demands for ADOR’s development, they hindered future music production and activities, thereby causing active damage. We are proceeding with the complaint regarding these actions.

Furthermore, Park Tae-hee and Cho Sung-hun, the top executives of HYBE’s PR team, face clear charges of malicious theft of personal information and illegal disclosure and provision. They are repeating criminal acts of damaging and misappropriating others’ information by visiting various media outlets for profit or illicit purposes. They even committed acts of personal retaliation against a reporter who reported such behavior and are continuing to spread false facts through third-party media outlets. We urge a thorough investigation and strict punishment regarding this and are proceeding with the complaint.

This complaint is being handled by Law Office SAEOL and Law Office OPES. Many people, including numerous domestic lawyers and a lawyer currently working at a major law firm in California, USA, are providing assistance to improve the current situation of the artist NewJeans.

While preparing the aforementioned complaint, we read the interview articles of the parents and BELIFT LAB’s statement released in between, and we feel it is not just devastating but deplorable. We promise to use every means and method possible to protect the members for the sake of the five NewJeans members and their parents, who must be spending difficult times due to the absence of the agency and internal responsible parties.
