Hello, this is Team Bunnies.

Recently, we feel that interest in Team Bunnies has risen sharply. We are seeing external login attempts and hacking attempts several times a day. While we wonder, “Why go to such lengths?”, we decided it was right to post this to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings in advance.

It seems the depth and breadth of the world are determined by one’s perspective and values. For some, the world consists only of relationships formed by money and power, and they seem to believe that all other words and actions are driven by forces behind the scenes.

To HYBE and some who follow their claims, living in such a world, it is regrettable that they seem unable to understand the heart that wants to give unconditionally to strangers out of care and love for one another, and the heart that wants to cheer for each other’s day just by gaining strength from looking at them.

As briefly mentioned before, Team Bunnies is a fandom gathered with a pure heart to support the journey of the artists we love, consisting of ordinary people of various professions, ages, and genders. We are not associated with any company, and everyone is voluntarily participating by carving out time outside of their main jobs to respond to various issues. Although many have suggested fundraising, the reason we are not conducting fundraising unless it is an essential situation is that each member is voluntarily covering the costs to continue our activities, and we do not want to place additional financial burdens on fans, as this situation itself is already causing much distress and pain.

Although our lives and directions differ, we are no different from other fandoms in that we are a gathering that voices opinions and acts together with a united heart for the artists we deeply love and cherish, NewJeans. We do not think we are special; just as every fandom supports their artist in their own way, Team Bunnies is simply supporting with all our might in unfamiliar territories, using a slightly unique method tailored to this specific situation.

In particular, we believe the groundless rumors about the relationship between former CEO Min Hee-jin and Team Bunnies are a result of their narrow view that assumes the purpose of all actions must solely be the pursuit of profit. If we appeared aligned as they claim, it is because Team Bunnies’ heart for the five members of NewJeans is no different from former CEO Min Hee-jin’s heart. We emphasize again: Team Bunnies has no relationship with CEO Min other than a shared heart. Furthermore, we feel apologetic for seemingly causing additional misunderstandings for the CEO, who is already bearing a heavy burden.

We can state with certainty that the five members of NewJeans, CEO Min Hee-jin, and all Bunnies including Team Bunnies are walking the same path with one heart.

Just a moment ago, the Hyundai Card lecture featuring CEO Min Hee-jin ended. Only after watching the lecture could we understand why they tried so hard to obstruct it. We thank the CEO for the shout-out, and we would like to reply that Team Bunnies will also do our best to support the future with NewJeans members and Bunnies.

You have worked hard getting through a long and difficult week. We hope we can cheer each other on so we don’t get exhausted. Thank you.
