Hello, this is Team Bunnies.

We would like to address the ongoing complaint case and the contents currently being mentioned by HYBE or the media, and inform everyone of a few facts.

First, regarding the ongoing complaint case, we received word that the investigation began yesterday (the 11th) at the Seoul Yongsan Police Station, and it appears that both the complainant and the accused will undergo investigation during October.

It is not just specific media outlets mentioned in specific communities that provided tips to us. Of course, there are tips where evidence was not submitted, and there are many contents we did not disclose because [the sources] did not want it. In May, HYBE intentionally distributed false facts to the press, and when articles correcting this were written, they immediately visited the media outlets in person to protest. Of course, they didn’t just protest. We received direct reports from reporters and media outlets that they not only badmouthed CEO Min Hee-jin and NewJeans, but also disclosed audit reports and internal materials that should not have been provided.

HYBE committed the illegal act of intentionally sharing and distributing audit reports and HYBE internal materials to reporters by protesting to or meeting directly with reporters who wrote articles acting unfavorably to HYBE. The contents of the audit report and badmouthing that reporters saw and heard from HYBE were distributed to the media and communities without a single letter changed. The same goes for the ‘gaslighting’ being reported in the media today.

Yesterday (the 11th) at 4 PM, we summarized and disclosed some of the submitted additional evidence for the complaint and tip-off contents from reporters. Less than an hour after disclosure, the content we received from various reporters was “HYBE guys are protesting to the desk.” Strangely, when one media outlet covered HYBE PR Office Lead Cho Seong-hun, the content mentioned was intimidation. Afterwards, this afternoon (the 12th), we also received word through officials and lawyers that HYBE is aware and showing movement, saying they are being mocked by real names regarding CCO Park Tae-hee and PR Office Lead Cho Seong-hun whom we mentioned.

Is HYBE really an entertainment company? In a situation where protection for artists has not been properly carried out for over 6 months, it is truly fascinating that they show such quick movement just because the real names of the PR Office Lead and Chief Communications Officer, regarding whom not a single lie was told, were mentioned.

We are preparing to submit additional evidence for the existing complaint once more, and are collecting materials to proceed with additional complaints besides the existing one. We will notify you once more via Twitter when preparation is complete.
