Following the filing of a complaint against HYBE Co., Ltd., Source Music, and two reporters belonging to Dispatch News Group at the Seoul Yongsan Police Station on the 2nd, we have submitted a petition to the Press Arbitration Commission requesting corrective recommendation measures against Dispatch News Group, as the issues regarding the two reporters from Dispatch News Group—such as illegal acquisition of information and defamation and distribution of personal information based on this—are serious.

Regarding the fact that information was obtained illegally, many journalists from media outlets have provided tips, and they informed us that HYBE attempted ‘media play’ by directly showing reporters and media desks information obtained in the course of business or information exceeding the scope of what could be obtained.

Regarding this, we plan to submit the additionally collected evidence and testimonies as supplementary materials to the existing complaint content soon. We tell you once again, there are many things we are preparing besides the complaint.

And we hope HYBE stops the act of shifting responsibility while mentioning ‘ADOR’s independent judgment’ and ‘multi-label.’ Currently, 3 out of 4 of ADOR’s changed internal directors are all executives of C-level rank at HYBE, and Lee Jae-sang, who resigned as an ADOR internal director in July, is currently the CEO of HYBE. No matter what happens, HYBE’s responsibility does not disappear. Stop playing with words.
