[Xports News, Reporter Cho Hye-jin] Person A, a former ADOR employee, expressed frustration, claiming to have been a victim caught in the conflict between HYBE and CEO Min Hee-jin.

On the August 13 broadcast of JTBC Newsroom, an interview with Person A, a former ADOR executive, was revealed.

Person A, who spoke out reluctantly just before leaving ADOR, stated, “Everyone was very supportive at the time.” They reported that an executive had made aggressive remarks during regular work and had called them to a dinner with advertisers where sexual harassment occurred.

However, HYBE’s investigation concluded that the incident did not constitute workplace harassment or sexual harassment. Person A protested to HYBE, claiming the investigation was unfair, and stated that CEO Min Hee-jin rejected their request for disciplinary action.

Person A, former ADOR employee:

“I’m being portrayed as a crazy woman who can’t do her job and made a false, retaliatory report.”

Person A stated, “Those around me know I’m the victim, but in CEO Min’s statements, I’m depicted as a crazy woman who can’t work and made a false, retaliatory report.” They also revealed that Min Hee-jin contacted them via messenger after the SNS exposé, acknowledging a misunderstanding but offering no apology.

Person A said, “I was sacrificed in the fight between the two companies. I was sacrificed but never properly apologized to,” and is now considering all legal options.

In response, Min Hee-jin’s side stated they do not agree with the claims and will issue a separate statement, while HYBE maintained they received the protest but conducted the investigation according to principles.

Previously, HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin engaged in a public dispute over the workplace sexual harassment case. In the process of Min denying allegations of covering up the incident, she disclosed messenger conversations without consulting the involved party.

A person claiming to be the female employee mentioned in Min’s clarification statement also posted a lengthy response. Person A, asserting they are the victim of workplace sexual harassment at ADOR (the agency of the group NewJeans), spoke out regarding Min’s alleged cover-up, drawing significant attention.

Person A claimed they were left devastated by Min’s profanity and verbal abuse.

Person A stated they were left devastated by Min Hee-jin’s profanity and verbal abuse, adding that they could not tolerate Min spreading numerous lies under the pretext of addressing their grievances.

According to Person A, during their time at ADOR, they faced not only sexual harassment but also various forms of workplace harassment and unfair treatment, leading to their resignation. They reported the sexual harassment and workplace harassment during the resignation process, but HYBE concluded that the incidents did not warrant disciplinary action as sexual harassment or workplace harassment.

As Min Hee-jin’s side has announced they will release a separate statement, attention is focused on what position they will take.
