The 21st Single Judge Division (Civil) of the Seoul Western District Court held the first hearing in the 100 million won damages lawsuit filed by former ADOR employee “A” against former CEO Min Hee-jin for defamation through false statements.

The Court:

Requested, “(The plaintiff’s side) filed a motion for inspection, and the inspection materials have been submitted. It appears to be over 2 hours long, and I’m not sure if there’s much value in watching it for several hours, so I ask both sides to review it and submit opinions summarizing only the necessary parts”

Min Hee-jin’s Side:

Agreed, stating, “If access is permitted, we could review it and each submit our own transcripts, and if there are no disagreements on the contents, it would be sufficient to substitute it with documentary evidence”

Former Employee (“A”)’s Side:

“When we filed the motion for inspection, we were told that because the video in question must be inspected, it could not be provided separately, which is why we had no choice but to file the motion for inspection”

“A period of about 4 weeks would be sufficient”

The Court’s Decision:

“The hearing will proceed after reviewing the rebuttals to the opposing party’s materials”

Second hearing scheduled for May 26, 2025
