Court Grants Injunction Prohibiting NJZ Independent Activities (Injunction to Preserve Agency Status and Prohibit Advertising Contracts)

Order

1. Until the first instance judgment is rendered in Seoul Central District Court Case No. 2024Gahap113399 (Action for Confirmation of Validity of Exclusive Contract) filed by the Creditor against the Debtors,

a. It is provisionally determined that the Creditor holds the status of management agency with respect to the Debtors pursuant to the exclusive contracts dated April 21, 2022 entered into between the Creditor and the Debtors, and

b. The Debtors shall not engage in entertainment activities as specified in the Appendix, whether by themselves (including the Debtors’ legal representatives) or through third parties other than the Creditor, without the prior approval or consent of the Creditor.

2. The litigation costs shall be borne by the Debtors.

Appendix

1. Activities as musicians including songwriting, composing, performing, and singing, as well as ancillary activities such as broadcast appearances and event hosting.

2. Negotiation and execution of advertising contracts, advertising appearances as advertising models, and commercial activities based on one’s status and popularity as a pop culture artist. [End]

Conclusion

Accordingly, as each ground of this application is justified, it is decided to grant the application in its entirety as set forth in the Order above.
