NewJeans stated, “Take all necessary measures as NewJeans’ management company regarding HYBE’s decision that ‘they can just dump NJ (referring to NewJeans) and set up a new game.’” They pointed out, “Among HYBE’s Music Industry Reports (internal monitoring documents) revealed during the recent National Assembly audit, there was a phrase stating, ‘We’ve been struggling for days over the NJ-IL-LS (NewJeans-ILLIT-LE SSERAFIM) wording, but they can just dump NJ and set up a new game.’”

All five members personally signed the last page of this certified letter.

NewJeans stated, “We hereby notify that if ADOR does not accept our demands for correction, we intend to terminate our exclusive contract,” adding, “There are currently baseless rumors circulating about the families and relatives of NewJeans members. NewJeans has no connection to these rumors whatsoever.”

They added, “We will respond firmly to anyone spreading false rumors to defame NewJeans.”
