ADOR Claims Advertiser and Third-Party Complaints Due to Independent SNS Activity

ADOR has released a statement regarding the group NewJeans operating independent channels after notifying ADOR of their contract termination.

A representative from ADOR stated, “All accounts other than NewJeans’ official SNS accounts created by ADOR were opened without prior consultation as required under the exclusive contract, and inquiries and complaints from advertisers and other third parties regarding these accounts and the content posted on them are actually occurring.” The representative added, “Separate entertainment activities through these accounts may cause legal issues.”
