Report: Evidence of Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s Direct Involvement in Sharing HYBE Internal Documents

On October 29, Ilgan Sports uncovered evidence that Chairman Bang Si-hyuk was directly involved in the process of distributing the documents to C-level executives at HYBE and its subsidiary labels.

It was revealed that Chairman Bang instructed that a newly appointed executive be added to the recipient list when the documents were being sent. While it has not been confirmed whether Chairman Bang initially ordered the creation of these reports, critics point out that he cannot escape responsibility for this controversy simply by allowing such provocative and dehumanizing content to be circulated among high-ranking officials.

In particular, although HYBE’s CEO officially apologized, Chairman Bang—who is effectively above the C-level executives and at the root of this matter—appears to be hiding behind employees and using them as shields.
