Min Hee-jin, CEO of ADOR (All Doors One Room), an independent label under HYBE, has been selected as one of the ‘Women Who Have Made an Impact in Global Entertainment’ by U.S. entertainment publication Variety.
Regarding the reason for selecting CEO Min Hee-jin, Variety stated, “As a K-pop branding innovator, she redefined the notion of ‘concept,’ ushering in a new era of girl groups starting with Girls’ Generation and presenting innovative artist branding through SHINee, EXO, and others. In 2022, she is preparing to launch yet another new girl group at ADOR,” emphasizing her contributions as a pioneer who has redefined the value of artist brands within the K-pop industry.
Since joining HYBE in 2019, CEO Min Hee-jin, as Chief Brand Officer (CBO), developed a new CI and completed the spatial branding of the new headquarters building. HYBE’s new CI won the main prize in the ‘Brands & Communication’ category at the ‘2021 Red Dot Design Award.’
Last November, she was appointed as CEO of ADOR, a new label under HYBE. ADOR is set to debut a new girl group later this year, which has been generating significant anticipation as it is referred to as ‘Min Hee-jin’s girl group.’ The new girl group will consist entirely of rookies, with CEO Min overseeing the entire production process.
Regarding the news of her selection, CEO Min Hee-jin expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am thankful. I am going all-in on planning and producing ADOR’s new girl group. In Q3 of this year, I will unveil a differentiated girl group that can present new tastes and topics to fans around the world.”
