Reports That M*** S** and KIM *** Will Join the ‘Min Hee-jin Girl Group’ & HYBE Remains Silent

The most anticipated team is the girl group to be launched by HYBE, home to BTS. This will be their first new girl group in nine years since “GLAM,” which their predecessor Big Hit Entertainment debuted in 2012.
Expectations for this girl group are exceptionally high, as it will be the first girl group HYBE introduces since becoming a world-class music label. It is being prepared in collaboration with Big Hit CBO Min Heejin and Source Music, which discovered GFRIEND.
CBO Min was in charge of the concepts for Girls’ Generation and f(x) at SM. Unusually for a K-pop staff member, she has developed her own dedicated following. Big Hit Chairman Bang Si-hyuk will oversee overall production including music producing, while CBO Min will be in charge of creative directing encompassing concept, visuals, and imagery, as well as overall branding.
Rumors are circulating that Mi*** Sa*** and Kim C***, both from the Korea-Japan project girl group IZ*ONE, will join this girl group. HYBE has not released any statement on this matter.

Above all, curiosity is growing about whether CBO (Chief Brand Officer) Min Heejin, who was recruited in 2019, will demonstrate her capabilities. CBO Min previously served as an executive director at SM Entertainment, where she planned and achieved hits with girl group concepts for Girls’ Generation, f(x), and Red Velvet. She also had a significant impact on the idol market through her attempts to express the concept of “conceptive” through SHINee and lead the project to realize EXO’s symbols and worldview. This is why attention is focused on whether Kim C*** and Sa*** will join and, under CBO Min’s direction, become HYBE’s first girl group. The music industry and fans are watching closely for when HYBE’s tightly sealed lips will finally open.

Mi*** Sa*** is expected to debut as part of a new girl group under Source Music, one of HYBE’s labels. The new girl group to be created by CBO Min Heejin, formerly of SM Entertainment, is generating significant anticipation.
