Big Hit Entertainment x Source Music Hold ⌜Plus Global Audition⌟
Big Hit Entertainment (co-CEOs Bang Si-hyuk and Yoon Seok-jun, hereafter Big Hit) will hold a large-scale global audition for the launch of a girl group together with its label Source Music (CEO So Sung-jin).
As the ‘Plus Global Audition’ aims to launch a girl group in 2021, Big Hit CEO Bang Si-hyuk and CBO (Chief Brand Officer) Min Heejin will be taking the lead. CEO Bang Si-hyuk will oversee overall production including music producing, while CBO Min Heejin will be in charge of creative directing encompassing concept, visuals, and imagery, as well as overall branding.
Above all, expectations are high as this will be the first girl group that CBO Min Heejin presents since joining Big Hit. There is also significant interest in the synergy that will result from CEO Bang Si-hyuk’s album planning and production capabilities combined with CBO Min Heejin’s creative directing expertise.
The ‘Plus Global Audition’ is a large-scale global audition jointly organized by Big Hit and Source Music for the launch of a next-generation girl group in 2021. It is garnering significant attention as this will be the first girl group presented by Big Hit CEO Bang Si-hyuk and CBO (Chief Brand Officer) Min Heejin together.
