Bang Si-hyuk Announces Preparations to Launch Girl Group with Source Music and Min Hee-jin

Bang Si-hyuk, CEO of Big Hit Entertainment (hereafter Big Hit), announced that he will be preparing a girl group launch together with Big Hit CBO Min Heejin and Source Music.

At the “Big Hit Corporate Briefing with the Community” held on the morning of the 21st at the Textile Center on Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, CEO Bang noted that the company has undergone many changes recently and outlined Big Hit’s upcoming business plans.

CEO Bang stated, “There have been changes to our internal organization. Our staff has increased approximately fourfold.” He continued, “We are also implementing a multi-label system. We established BELIFT LAB and brought Source Music on board as a subsidiary.” He added, “The recruitment of CBO Min Heejin is a prime example of these changes.”

CEO Bang also announced, “Big Hit and Source Music will be holding a global audition together. CBO Min Heejin will also be participating. We ask for your interest in the Plus Global Audition, which will be held to form a debut lineup for a new girl group.”
